Peer to Peer: UK/HK 2022 is a collaborative programme connecting visual artists and arts organisations across the UK and Hong Kong. This programme aims to encourage meaningful cultural exchange and forge enduring partnerships between the UK and Hong Kong’s visual arts sectors.
To celebrate the culmination of the programme of international exchange and collaboration, we invite you to join us in an online festival from 26th September – 9th October 2022.

Inspiring visual arts exchange between UK and Hong Kong
𝟷𝟷 - 𝟷𝟺 𝘕𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟶
Registration is now open for the Peer to Peer: UK/HK Online Festival, an online platform for cultural exchange between the UK and Hong Kong’s Visual Arts sectors as they interrogate topical themes of our time including art & activism, art in the digital realm and the climate emergency. On the second day of the Festival (November 12, 9:15pm HKT), HART Director Jeannie Wu will be discussing with representatives from other participating organisations on art programming for placemaking and community building - stay tuned!
The festival has announced its programme of public events and panel talks, alongside an online exhibition of digital artwork including existing artworks and 5 brand new commissions from artists based in the UK and Hong Kong.
The Peer to Peer: UK/HK Online Festival will take place entirely online between 11-14 November 2020 on peertopeerexchange.org. The festival is free and open to all. Register today online!

藝術節的公開活動及小組討論節目現已公布,並同期舉行一個網上數碼藝術展覽,展出來自英國及香港藝術家的現成作品和五件全新委託作品。

HART is happy to announce the digital residency of Hausian Shane Aspegren (@shaneaspegren) with The University of Salford Art Collection (@uos_artcollection) starting today till 7th of November.
‘After spending the past few years navigating my various practices towards areas of the analog/physical, this year has been interesting in terms of the forced adaptation back towards the digital. I’ll be sharing some sounds, images, words, documentation, and links to some of the attempts to move online in these past months, as well as a few related projects from the past few years.’ - Shane Aspegren

Peer to Peer: UK/HK - Digital Residency 網上平台進行駐場 | Wu Jiaru with Furtherfield 吳佳儒與Furtherfield
HART is pleased to announce our participation in Peer to Peer: UK/HK - an inspiring arts exchange initiative between UK and Hong Kong.
Peer to Peer: UK/HK is a programme designed to encourage meaningful cultural exchange and to forge enduring partnerships between the UK and Hong Kong's visual arts sectors. The programme launches publicly with an online festival of international exchange and collaboration on the 11-14 November, curated by independent curator Ying Kwok.
The Festival will include an online exhibition of digital artworks from UK and Hong Kong based artists, including 5 new commissions by artists nominated by UK and Hong Kong based partners. There will also be a series of digital residencies taking place across partner organisation's social media channels as well as a set of curated panel discussions.
Hausian Wu Jiaru is starting her digital residency with Furtherfield (UK) from today till October 29. Stay tuned to the social media platforms of Furtherfield (Instagram) to see what Jiaru will share with worldwide audience in this program!

Hausian Chui Pui-chee is launching a 10-days course in Cantonese, teaching Chinese calligraphy in regular script (楷書), every Thursday starting from 23 July 2020.

The first HART Hub in 2020 was a social mixer with HKU MBA, Perfume Trees Gin and our Hausians. It was an inspiring Monday night of insights on arts and business, and the flowery scent of the gin!We believe the event has been an opportunities for the participants of different industries, especially arts and business, to learn more about each others' practice and hence reinforce their own.

HART Hub#5 | YOGA FOR THE BRAIN
As its name suggests, zentangle is a Zen practice inspired by Mahayana Buddhism emphasizing the value of meditation and intuition. It is an American-born drawing technique based on strings and circles, filling spaces with simple yet repetitive strokes, demonstrating beauty in a complicated picture. People can enter a meditative state through creating zentangle patterns, therefore it is also known as ‘yoga for the brain’.
Join us to for a zentangle experience to repose, rekindle your spirit and unleash your inner strength.

About the Host
Cindy is a film veteran with solid and diverse experience in international film institutions. With her film knowledge, Cindy applied her concept and skills into artwork, creating a unique direction of Zentangle inspired arts and meditative oriented direction. She is also a qualified Zentangle instructor who teaches regular at different institutions and organisations.

“Together We March Forward: New Asia 70th Anniversary Art Exhibition” Exhibition and Happenings |《結隊向前行:新亞七十藝術展》展覽、專題講座及導賞團
From the coming Friday to next Monday, H Queen’s and HART delightfully partners with New Asia College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong to celebrate their 70th Anniversary! More than seven decades of nurturing artists in Hong Kong, ‘Together We March Forward: New Asia 70th Anniversary Art Exhibition’ will be held at HART Hall to display artworks by over 30 alumni artists. Art enthusiast and public are strongly encouraged to join the event, as a series of talks,workshops and guided tours will also be held to echo with New Asia College’s tradition to pass on the culture to the next generation.

十年樹木,百年樹人,中文大學新亞書院作育英才已七十載。新亞書院校友會主辦的「結隊向前行:新亞七十藝術展」將由今個週五開始,一連四日在場地夥伴 H Queen’s - HART Hall 舉行,與外界一同慶祝新亞為香港藝術界作育英才的豐碩成果。是次藝術展將展出逾30位新亞書院老師及畢業校友之作品,當中包括多位書法水墨名家及本地著名當代藝術家。展覽期間會舉辦專題講座:《香港當代藝術的收藏與欣賞》,帶大家深入淺出認識香港當代藝術。除此之外,一連串的《小小藝術家工作坊》、《藝術家工作室體驗》及《導賞團及「走進藝術家世界」分享會》更是大小朋友一同走進藝術世界的好機會,由一眾新亞校友、著名當代藝術家均即席示範及親授繪畫技巧,並參觀藝術家工作室,一睹藝術家的創作空間。

“I would like to share the importance for me to walk. To find inspiration of course, but also to discover or to rediscover a place thanks to art installation. In my opinion, art must be an experience. Literally walking through the idea of someone is simply magic.” - Raphaële de Broissia
French artist Raphaële de Broissia will be our host of the very first HART Hub session - ‘WALK’.
What does walking mean to you? For de Broissia, walking is more than a physical action, it is also mental and transcending - it is where her art begins.
