Zoé Tullen's art practice is inspired by the observation that machines, along with women, are subject to patriarchy through shared mechanisms. Whether in virtual or physical volumes, her three-dimensional work reveals precisely the objectification suffered by these two human and non-human groups. The evolving Motherlode series (2022–ongoing) focuses on the historical relationship between women and electronic programming devices.
